Desify is a premium Indian marketplace shipping fresh sweets, snacks, pickles, ghee, spices, and gifting boxes from Hyderabad, India to Indian families abroad. Founded by Sheetal Chouhan in 2022, Desify ships to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Japan, and across the European Union in 3 to 5 business days, fresh from our partner kitchens, with all customs and duties pre-paid at checkout.
Why Desify exists
Every Indian living abroad knows the same waiting game: someone is visiting from India, and you ask them to carry mithai, pickles, ghee, or a tin of Almond House. The suitcase fills up. The box leaves Hyderabad on a Tuesday and arrives stale in a foreign customs warehouse on the following Monday. The taste of home becomes a calendar problem.
Desify was built to remove the suitcase from the equation. We partner directly with Hyderabad's premium institutions including Almond House, Vellanki Foods, Hameedi Confectioners, Niloufer Bakery, Organics & You, Kapiva, and Isha. We handle the rest: vacuum-sealed packing, same-day shipping from our Hyderabad facility, express courier handover, and Delivered Duty Paid customs clearance so nothing arrives with a surprise invoice at the door.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, she leads brand, sourcing partnerships, and the editorial voice of Desify. Her mission is simple: make India just a click away, no matter the geography.
Rohitha
Co-founder, Dallas, USA
Rohitha co-founded Desify and leads US-side operations, customer experience, and partnerships across the diaspora's largest market. Based in Dallas, she works directly with Desify customers across the United States to keep service standards consistent from the West Coast to the East.

Indian sweets (mithai, halwa, ladoo, barfi), regional snacks and namkeen (Hyderabadi specialties, Bombay mix, chivda, murukku), pickles and chutneys, organic ghee and cold-pressed oils, single-origin spices, Ayurvedic wellness from Kapiva and Isha, and festival gifting boxes for Diwali, Rakhi, Eid, Holi, and weddings.

Desify ships from Hyderabad, India to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and across the European Union including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and Switzerland. Every shipment moves with Delivered Duty Paid customs clearance to the door.
What we don't do
We don't bulk-import to a foreign warehouse and resell stale stock. We don't list a thousand SKUs no one would gift. We don't run constant discounts to manufacture urgency. We don't cut corners on packaging to save freight. And we don't ship anything we wouldn't send to our own family back home.
