Red dragon fruit, also known as Pitaya, quite literally resembles a little dragon with its spiky appearance, and grows on climbing cacti in subtropical regions of South America and Asia. Considered to be one of the best super fruits, dragonfruit is packed with antioxidants and vitamins such as C, B1, B2, and B3 along with omega fatty acids and probiotics which promote a healthy gut. Dragonfruit also has significant fibre content and anti-inflammatory qualities, making it an excellent support for arthritis or joint pain.
