Pooranam Boorelu, also known as Sugeelu, Suguntalu and Purnalu, is a traditional deep-fried sweet dumpling, known to have originated in Andhra Pradesh and is popular across South India. Boorelu is considered an auspicious delicacy as it is representative of fullness, prosperity and joy.
